ICICI Bank Rumours

Hi Everybody,
This is an article I am writing about ICICI after being harassed badly by ICICI Customer Care-NRI Department and by their foreign Remittance Department.
It is just a case of small swift transfer for which I and my client are still waiting for the credit and not to forget, any satisfactory reply from ICICI Authorities. Every possible details has been forwarded to ICICI at nri@icicibank.com. Still they are avoiding the credit, searching for excuses, delaying the whole thing and harassing me and my forign client.

This is actually disgusting to know that India's Second Largest bank is providing such pathatic NRI Services, that nobody in the near future, atleast who all know this case, will ever form any type of alliance with ICICI bank. I have wasted more than 17 days by now, several days of my time, efforts & energy & more than 8 hours of calling their UNTRAINED, UNPROFESSIONAL customer care executives, who just give false promises, avoid & ignore the situations and keep you on hold for hours.

IF ICICI BANK THINKS SHAH RUKH KHAN IN AN ICICI ADVERTISEMENT CAN DO WONDERS FOR THEM, THEN I MUST SAY THAT THEY ARE WRONG HERE!

After all this mess, nothing CONCRETE has been mailed. We are still hanging in the middle of the nowhere. My client is fed-up of contacting this ICICI bank requesting them to credit the amount to the beneficiary's account, but without any success.

Here is a copy of the COMMENTS given by my Client regarding ICICI:-
"Your bank is the most unprofessional bank we have ever dealt with in our company. I think ICICI bank are holding on to your payment because they are making interest of it. This is the opinion of both myself and my bank manager at Natwest bank when I have asked him to send me a swift copy, which your bank for the record have only asked for once and I have said I can not do it.
Our company sends a lot of international payments and we do it online so there is not swift copy document yet , the only other we have is a debit notice. I will forward this to you now. I have to admit we have had dealt with ICICI before and they are very unprofessional. If after this they don’t transfer the money to you, you should take it up with some one senior, we have given the debit amount, the date the transfer was sent and all the details they have requested so why they are holding onto you payment to make interest! The most interesting thing is if you look at the debit notice this whole thing came about because your banks said we did not put you name on the transfer on the debit notice it is quite clear you name is on there so again take this up with your bank. "


This is what I am trying to convey to anyone who has any type of Alliance with ICICI Bank. "

PLAESE DONT RELY ON ICICI BANK FOR ANYTHING NOW ON."

This is my personal experiance. I am still going through all this. No satisfactory answers from ICICI till date. Fed-up of their excuses inspite of providing all the relevant details they have asked for. Their NRI services are good for nothing. Every second customer care professional speaks something different. There is no system, nobody knows anything as if nothing has been integrated, everytime you get to know something new, long hours of waiting and hold........ n blah blah.

The crux of writing this blog is that whosoever reads this must know what these ICICI people are upto and should avoid any type of alliance with them. I will appreciate any comments regarding this type of issues and make people aware that a bank cannot go away with their mistakes specially when they know a common man cannot do much except accepting his fate.

Will not delete this blog untill n unless my problem will be solved. Whatever rumours about ICICI we have heard, they themselves are proving it to be right! ICICI Bank is not a bank to Rely on! Expecting some higher official from ICICI to read this and should know whats going on at their Junior Levels.
